Traveling along it requires courage,
patience, wisdom and hope."

Virgie Hegg Hospice Partners, Inc

Virgie Hegg Hospice Partners, Inc. (VHHP) was formed after the 1990 death of its namesake, Virgie Hegg. Virgie was an extraordinarily kind person from rural Cook who died of cancer. In honor of her memory, VHHP was formed as a non-profit organization to provide hospice services around the Cook area. VHHP has teamed with St. Mary's Hospice & Palliative Care - East Range Team. The services provided are hands-on medical, psychological, and spiritual care.
VHHP also helps with the recruitment of volunteers for respite care, giving a much needed break to those family members caring for a loved one with a terminal illness.
