Virgie Hegg Hospice Partners, Inc

Virgie Hegg Hospice Partners, Inc. (VHHP) was formed after the 1990 death of its namesake, Virgie Hegg. Virgie was an extraordinarily kind person from rural Cook who died of cancer. In honor of her memory, VHHP was formed as a non-profit organization to provide hospice services around the Cook area. VHHP has teamed with St. Mary's Hospice & Palliative Care - East Range Team since 2001. The services provided are hands-on medical, psychological, and spiritual care.
Today, the primary purpose of this organization is the direct support of hospice services as provided by any licensed and certified hospice provider in central Saint Louis County. Virgie Hegg Hospice Partners will ensure and facilitate access to quality hospice services and palliative care for all hospice patients and their families in central Saint Louis County.
VHHP also partners with the W.C. Heiam Foundation to support hospice and respite care services in the Cook Hospital.
