Thank you to those of you who responded to our Spring Membership Campaign. Your support exceeded our expectations! Through your generous donations, we were able to raise approximately 10% of our projected budget for the upcoming year. We hope you will enjoy the benefits of membership, including our newsletters and an invitation to the Annual Meeting Dinner in June. More importantly, we hope you will appreciate knowing that your generosity is positively impacting others in your community during a time of need. Membership contributions have helped secure a contract between the Cook Hospital and St. Mary's Hospice & Palliative Care to provide care locally. VHHP, along with W.C. Heiam Foundation have agreed to secure a $20,000 Stop/Loss Risk Fund to support this contract. We are proud to support this service to our local community and thank those individuals who have worked together to make this opportunity become a reality.
