To educate and build awareness of hospice services in
communities within a 50 mile radius around Cook, which
are not currently covered by other services.
To partner with regional hospice services, which provide
skilled nursing, homecare, medical equipment & supplies,
prescriptions, respite care, and 18 months of bereavement
support.
To support hospice quality through continuing education
of hospice staff.
To compassionately support families, including as-needed
financial help to pay for expenses not covered by Medicare,
Medicaid or private insurance.
